Apply today Job Summary and Qualifications The Medical Transport Ground Supervisor provides the overall business and daily operations leadership for the Ground Medical Transport Services. This role leads an integrated transport program from an ownership mindset and accepts responsibility and accountability for such. This role advocates and allocates resources to promote efficient, effective, safe, quality and compassionate clinical care based on current standards of practice. This role integrates clinical, human resources, and financial data to support decision making. This role promotes research and integrates evidence-based practice into clinical, operational, and leadership processes. This role ensures compliance with regulatory and professional standards. What you will do in this role: + u200b Provide oversight of the EMS Supervisors, Clinical Education Coordinator and Quality & Regulatory Team on revising and updating medical protocols/guidelines and practice standards. + Maintain a constant state of regulatory readiness. + u200bEnsure all applicable minimums and standards (licenses, competencies, training, equipment, policies, practice guidelines etc.) are met and align with portfolio scope, population and expected outcomes. + u200bContinually drive excellence through process improvement chart review, primary and continuing education, data analysis and regulatory achievements. + u200bCollaborate across disciplines to drive success and enhance outcomes. + u200bEnforce compliance of clinical staff with medical crew licensure, certifications, Immunizations, educational requirements, and regulatory readiness. + u200bAssure base compliance with the FRMC Controlled Substances policy and other required daily tasks. + u200bParticipate in the quality management program and Root Cause Analysis evaluations. + u200bMaintain visibility in the region with internal and external key stakeholders. + u200bProvide company and Business Operations team with regional insights as needed. + Maintain awareness of applicable regulatory body implications affecting region; Collaborate with all applicable parties and ensures regionu2019s constant state of regulatory readiness (Regional Peer Reviews, and Regional Performance Improvement Meetings. + Provide regional insights for root cause analysis as needed. + Maintain documentation of required licensure, certifications, continuing education, aviation and safety training, OSHA and HIPPA training, clinical rotations, and advanced procedures. Provides oversight of continuing educational programs and safety management system. + Provide oversight of the EMS Supervisors to ensure clinical duty schedule completion and assures proper medical coverage for all shifts. + Assist in hiring program leader candidates and provide on-boarding and orientation and ongoing assessment and education. + u200bMaintain responsibility for disciplinary action related to the regionu2019s program leaders in collaboration with applicable leaders and HR. + Handle direct report annual employee evaluations. + Ensure regional leadership is effective and competent and fosters regional succession planning. + Ensure the clinical strategy is coordinated and consistent with Medical Transport and related partner strategies + Participate in marketing activities of FRMC Medical Transport. + In conjunction with applicable parties, is responsible for planning, development, and implementation of long term and short-term strategic initiatives for region. + Assist with business development and growth of the FRMC Medical Transport Program. + u200bIs responsible for leadership presentations for consideration related to program base moves, expansions, service extensions and other medium and large regional and program growth levers. + Participate in strategic planning for the Business Operations team. + Participate in strategic planning for the program and establish goals for the medical personnel as requested. + u200bAssist with capital expenditure plans to support clinical needs for current programs, program transitions, acquisitions, or expansions. Assist with, monitor, and report on the operational budget for OT, salaries, medical supplies, continuing education, HPS labs/training, and other medical operations budget accounts related to base operations. + Assure proper use, maintenance and repair of medical equipment. Participate in evaluation of new equipment/supplies. + Is responsible for evaluating the programu2019s expense trends; Develop, monitor, and report on operational budget for OT, salaries, medical supplies, etc., related to operations. + u200bIs responsible for leadership presentation for consideration related to program base consolidations, service reductions and other medium and large program expense management levers. What qualifications you will need: + u200bCompletion of Accredited Paramedic Training Program requiredu200b. + Kentucky Paramedic License requiredu200b. + u200bKentucky Driveru2019s License requiredu200b. + Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required. + u200bITLH or PHTLS required or must be obtained within 60 days of hire. + Maintain FEMA 100, 200, 700 & 800 required. + 5-10 years of Critical Care Experience preferred. + u200b3+ years of People Management experience preferred. + u200bParamedic Bacheloru2019s Degree in Emergency Services preferred.
