Description We are looking for a skilled Trust & Estate Attorney to join our team in Albany. The ideal candidate will bring a proactive attitude and a passion for delivering exceptional legal services in estate planning and probate matters. Responsibilities: u2022 Conduct consultations with clients to assess their estate planning and probate needs. u2022 Draft and execute estate planning documents with precision and adherence to legal standards. u2022 Supervise paralegal staff to ensure efficient workflow and quality output. u2022 Represent clients during court appearances related to probate and estate matters. u2022 Maintain meticulous organizational practices to manage case files and deadlines effectively. u2022 Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, colleagues, and external parties. u2022 Utilize Microsoft Office tools, including Word, Excel, and Outlook, to prepare documents and manage schedules. u2022 Ensure compliance with all relevant legal and ethical standards. u2022 Provide guidance on complex estate and probate issues to clients. u2022 Foster a positive and collaborative work environment to support team succes Requirements u2022 Active bar admission in the state of New York. u2022 Notary public certification is preferred. u2022 Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Adobe. u2022 Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks. u2022 Strong attention to detail and excellent follow-up skills. u2022 Detail-oriented approach with the ability to handle sensitive matters discreetly. u2022 2-5 years of experience in estate planning, probate, or related legal practice. u2022 Ability to work independently while contributing to a team-oriented environment.
