The successful candidate will lead awell-established collaborative piano program in the areas ofinstrumental and vocal music, oversee all collaborative piano curriculumand activities, teach lessons for undergraduates and graduate students,mentor and advise MM and DMA collaborative piano students, conductstudio classes, coach chamber ensembles, and teach courses in repertoireand pedagogy. Our new colleague will be a member of the keyboard area,oversee several graduate assistants in collaborative piano, and performregularly with faculty and visiting artists. We anticipate the startingdate of this position to be August 17, 2026. The successful candidatewill maintain an active and visible professional profile; buildprofessional relationships with local, regional, and national artisticinstitutions; actively recruit students for the School's collaborativepiano program; cultivate a welcoming and healthy learning environmentfor students, faculty, and staff; and actively participate in serviceactivities in support of the Mead Witter School of Music, the College ofLetters & Science, and the University. The successful candidate willadvance the educational mission of the College of Letters & Science thatvalues, prioritizes, and actualizes evidence-based and student-centeredteaching and mentoring. They will contribute to an environment thatfosters engagement and a sense of belonging for faculty, staff, studentsand members of the broader community.
