Job Summary and Qualifications As an Advanced Patient Care Technician (PCT) , you will be an important part of delivering compassionate, patient-centered care. Under the guidance of a registered nurse, you will perform advanced clinical tasks and help create a safe, welcoming environment where patients and families feel valued and respected. + Observe patients, document changes, and communicate them with the nursing team + Help patients with daily needs (ADLs) such as eating, drinking, bathing, and moving safely + Provide advanced care, including phlebotomy, telemetry monitoring, removing IV lines and catheters, and care for wounds + Assist with supporting tasks like collecting lab samples and assisting with clerical duties to keep care running smoothly + Look ahead to what patients might need, respond quickly, and help ensure every experience feels seamless and compassionate What qualifications you will need: + Basic Cardiac Life Support, or BCLS Instructor, or (CPCT/A) Certified Patient Care Technician/Assistant, or (CNA) Certified Nursing Assistant must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date + (EKG) Certified ECG/EKG Technician, or (CPT) Certified Phlebotomy Technician Benefits Medical City Plano, offers a total rewards package that supports the health, life, career and retirement of our colleagues.
