Account Service Associate

Description We are looking for a dedicated Account Service Associate to join our team in Sunnyvale, California. In this long-term contract position, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance, and delivering excellent service to members and staff. This opportunity is ideal for someone with strong analytical skills and a passion for supporting operational efficiency within the accounting domain. Responsibilities: u2022 Conduct daily operational and account audits to ensure accuracy and compliance. u2022 Respond to member inquiries regarding account eligibility, documentation, and general information. u2022 File Adult Protective Services reports in adherence to regulatory requirements. u2022 Support the escheatment process by updating property records and utilizing escheatment software. u2022 Assist with decedent case management, including account ownership updates and closures. u2022 Process contributions, withdrawals, and withholding election changes accurately. u2022 Prepare weekly rate and fee schedules for review and distribution. u2022 Collaborate on special projects to enhance processes and workflows. u2022 Update and maintain job aids and procedural documents in collaboration with management and staff. Requirements u2022 Bacheloru2019s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or equivalent education and experience. u2022 Prior experience in financial services is preferred. u2022 Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel. u2022 Strong attention to detail and ability to conduct audits accurately. u2022 Proven ability to deliver exceptional customer service to members and staff. u2022 Familiarity with transaction processing and account maintenance. u2022 Effective communication skills and a collaborative mindset. u2022 Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
