Just look up. Are you ready to go beyond? What You Will Do: + Perform Dimensional and Visual inspections following standardized methods and established techniques. The Inspector will be accepting or rejecting material based on findings. + Work from applicable written inspection procedures and engineering drawings. + Accepting or referring material for rework or quality review based on findings. + Use a variety of precision measuring instruments. + Issue non-conformance reports, Quality Notifications + Assist others who are responsible for specialized inspection processes such as those found in statistical process control or other similar quality assurance programs. + May be assigned to carry out tasks, not specifically listed, within the scope and skill level of this job description in support of department objectives and to develop individuals' skills. + This position will require travel up to 30% Qualifications You Must Have + High School Diploma or GED. + 2+ yearsu2019 experience in Inspection or relevant manufacturing experience. + 2+ yearsu2019 experience reading and interpreting engineering blueprints, Micrometers and Calipers. + 2+ yearsu2019 experience using fixed or variable measuring instruments to check dimensions. + Ability to understand and work form operation sheets, engineering drawings, and process operation procedures. + Active U.S. government issued Secret level security clearance OR the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret level security clearance. + U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance. Qualifications We Prefer + 4+ years of Inspection experience. + Military Engine experience, ideally on the PW F135 engine program + ISO9001, AS9110, AS9100, AS9102 experience + FAA certificates: Repairman or Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) + Currently Active Secret Clearance (Attained within the past 5 years).
