Shop Helper

Job Title: Shop Helper Pay Range: $17/hour Location: On-site in Jacksonville, Florida, 32217 Job Description The Shop Helper will be integral to the production process, responsible for grinding recently welded parts, deburring metal components, and operating a sit-down forklift to transport materials like aluminum and stainless steel between the welding and fabrication departments. Responsibilities + Grind recently welded parts to ensure smooth finishes. + Deburr metal parts to prepare them for further processing. + Operate a sit-down forklift to move materials such as aluminum and stainless steel. + Assist in general labor tasks within the shop. + Support production and assembly processes. + Aid in fabrication and inventory management. + Maintain cleanliness and organization within the work area. Essential Skills + Experience in general labor tasks. + Proficiency in grinding and deburring. + Ability to handle materials efficiently. + Competence in operating a sit-down forklift. + Understanding of production and assembly processes. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Knowledge of material handling and safety procedures. + Familiarity with machine operation. Why Work Here?
