We have an outstanding Contract position for anAvionic Technicianto join a leading Company located in theGreenville, SCsurrounding area. US Citizenship is required. Candidate must have the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance. Responsibilities : As the FACO Production Avionics Technician, you will be responsible for testing/installing electrical harnesses/components, routing various wires/cables, terminating cables/wires, and performing operational checks May also be required to troubleshoot and repair electrical and avionics systems based on the area assigned Will sometimes perform other duties such as general mechanic installs, testing, and inspections Basic Hiring Criteria : + Minimum 6 years of solid electrical/AVI experience, will consider candidates with 4 years of Recent Aircraft experience if they have relevant fighter jet experience + Minimum 4 years of recent soldering experience is required (Must be able to pass soldering test/training) + ATO required + Fighter Aircraft Experience is Preferred, but not required + Heavy Electrical/MOD experience is accepted + Avionics/Harness Mod Experience is required + Clearance not required to start, but it is a plus if you have an active Secret clearance + Must be able to work any shift; shifts will be as assigned after training, based on program need + 1st Shift - Mon. thru Thurs.; 6;00 AM to 4:30 PM + 2nd Shift - Mon. thru Thurs.; 4:30 PM to 3:00 AM + Weekend Shift- Thurs-Sun.; 6;00 AM to 4:30 PM + Aircraft avionics electrical mod/harness mod is preferred Military connected talent encouraged to apply.
