The Maintenance Worker II is needed to perform general labor duties to include the maintenance of equipment, fueling equipment, unloading materials, and digging. Essential Functions Essential functions include but are not limited to: + Digs and refills trenches and other excavations; cuts asphalt and concrete; maintains lawns. + Loads, unloads, lifts and carries tools, equipment and chemicals. + Maintain and repair underground wastewater service lines, cleaning work areas, perform related maintenance duties. + Transports materials and personnel to work sites. + Climbs stairs and ladders; bends, stoops, pushes, pulls, lifts and carries up to 75 lbs.; may stand for more than six hours. + Requires knowledge of construction equipment, materials and work tasks. + Requires ability to follow oral and written instructions. Education/Experience Work requires the ability to read and understand written instructions, to understand simple processes and the routine operation of machines. Level of knowledge equivalent to high school or equivalency. One year as a Maintenance Worker. The preferred candidate will possess one year experience of maintenance repair.
