Job DutiesHuman Resources Generalist (onsite/hybrid)Location Notice: AgriBank is currently headquartered in downtown St. Paul. Please be aware that we will be relocating to Richfield, MN in August 2026. Position Overview The HR Generalist is responsible for administering and supporting a wide range of human resources programs and processes, with a primary focus on talent acquisition and onboarding. This role leads end-to-end recruiting efforts and ensures a smooth, engaging onboarding process that sets employees up for success from day one. In addition to recruiting and onboarding, the HR Generalist supports employee engagement, HR operations, employee data maintenance, compliance, and reporting. The HR Generalist partners closely with the HR team, leaders, and employees to deliver effective HR solutions and contribute to projects and initiatives that support AgriBank's people strategy and desired culture. Job Functions Leads end-to-end talent acquisition, including job postings, sourcing, interviewing, and partnering with hiring managers on selection and offers Manages interview scheduling and maintains accurate tracking of the open position pipeline Develops and executes strategies to attract, engage, and retain strong, diverse talent Prepares and delivers compensation offers for new hires Builds and maintains relationships with academic, veterans, affinity, and professional organizations to support a strong talent pipeline Owns all preu2011boarding and onboarding activities, ensuring a smooth and engaging new hire experience Coordinates background checks, drug screens, and required preu2011employment testing Plans and delivers new hire orientation Administers new hire surveys and partners with the HR team to drive improvements based on feedback Serves as a point of contact for employee inquiries through the HR inbox; resolves or escalates as appropriate Partners with HR team members to maintain accurate employee data in HR systems Supports contractor and temporary worker agreements, contracts, and related onboarding processes Collaborates with the HR team, leaders, and employees to support engagement initiatives Assists with performance management and compensation processes Supports HR compliance activities Prepares reports and people analytics for leadership and board presentations Recommends and administers programs that support the culture and people priorities of the AgriBank management team Education and Experience Bachelor's degree in human resources, communications, business, or a related field 3 years' related experience Human resources experience as an advisor and partner Or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the essential functions described above Required Knowledge and Skills Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office suite Intermediate skill using HR information system (HRIS) software Basic knowledge of HR practices, policies, and programs Basic knowledge of state, federal, and local regulations affecting employment decisions Physical Requirements Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer Occasional lifting up to 15 pounds The AgriBank Advantage You are the key differentiator in the marketplace and ultimately the most important factor in helping us fulfill our mission to support those who feed the world. The typical base range for this role is between $61,000 - $93,000. Compensation may vary based on individual job-related knowledge, skills, expertise, and experience. The position is eligible for a discretionary annual incentive program driven by organization and individual performance.
