Description We are looking for an experienced HR Generalist to join a dynamic team in Durham, North Carolina. This Contract to permanent position is ideal for a detail-oriented individual eager to contribute to a non-profit organization while driving key HR functions such as employee relations, onboarding, and benefits administration. The role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact while supporting organizational goals. Responsibilities: u2022 Manage and resolve employee relations issues by providing guidance and support to both staff and management. u2022 Oversee the onboarding process, ensuring a smooth transition for new hires and maintaining compliance with organizational policies. u2022 Administer employee benefits programs, providing accurate information and addressing inquiries. u2022 Maintain and update HR records and data within HRIS systems to ensure accuracy and efficiency. u2022 Collaborate with leadership to develop HR policies that align with organizational objectives. u2022 Conduct training sessions on HR-related topics to enhance employee knowledge and engagement. u2022 Support performance management processes, including evaluations and feedback mechanisms. u2022 Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements in all HR practices. u2022 Assist with workforce planning and recruitment strategies to meet organizational needs. u2022 Evaluate and improve HR processes to enhance operational effectiveness. Requirements u2022 Proven experience in employee relations and conflict resolution. u2022 Strong knowledge of HR administration, including onboarding and benefits management. u2022 Proficiency in using HRIS systems for data management and reporting. u2022 Familiarity with employment laws and regulations. u2022 Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. u2022 Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. u2022 Strong analytical skills to support HR decision-making. u2022 Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
