This job was posted by : For moreinformation, please see:Essential FunctionsUnder administrative direction, serves as a Computer Support Analyst IIfor the Department of Innovation & Technology (DoIT) performing complexprofessional and advisory client services functions, includingcoordinating and conducting complex software distribution applicationdevelopment for Microsoft networks, onsite user provided facilities, andassigned agencies.Performs configuration, testing, implementation, documentation andmaintenance of desktop/laptop Microsoft Operating Systems and MacOperating Systems, Microsoft Office client software products, andvarious software and supported applications.Provides both on site and remote end user support for all desktoprelated issues by resolving user questions/problems including Microsoft365 Apps for enterprise, Anti-Virus software, and any other agencydeveloped and supported products.Serves as a project coordinator for full-range major/complex projects,very large end user hardware, software, and application deployments,including installations across multiple agencies and locations whileindependently planning, developing, and implementing techniques forgathering and interpreting data.Conducts formal training of subordinates and fellow team members onconcepts and how to use technical troubleshooting tools, such asIntimidator, PowerShell, BeyondTrust, System Center ConfigurationManager (SCCM), Active Directory (AD), and current ticketing systemsutilized by the state.Keeps abreast of new developments in the information technology field bycontinuing education through online training platforms, meetings,training sessions, seminars, and conferences to increase familiaritywith and remain current on products, vendors, techniques, andprocedures.Performs other duties as required or assigned which are reasonablywithin the scope of duties enumerated above. Minimum QualificationsRequires knowledge, skill and mental development equivalent tocompletion of four (4) years of college with course work in computerscience or directly related fields.Requires three (3) years of professional experience in end usercomputing, client services or a related Information Technology Field.
