Job Title: CDL Driver / Asphalt PavingLocation: York, PAType: Direct HireCDLu00a0Truck Driver- Daily Pre-trip inspection and post inspections- Cleaning and maintaining the daily task to maintain the truck- Material Transport: Haul aggregates, blacktop, and equipment between quarries, asphalt plants, and construction zones.- Backing trucks safely into pavers or maneuvering through tight construction zones with low clearances.- Site Support assist with manual labor, such as shoveling /raking/ brooming to finish edges and joints when work is neededMinimum requirements:- Licensing:u00a0Requires a valid CDL Class A or B and a current medical examiner's certificate,u00a0If Class A drivers should be able to safely move/ and load varies equipment on and off trailers- Physical Stamina: To sit for long periods of time and the capacity to lift 50 to 75 pounds, stand for long periods, and work in extreme heat or near hot asphalt- Positive attitude- Able to drive around construction site and tight spaces within city limits.- Able to navigate to varies job sites throughout the today- Good communication with foreman- Follow basic PPE requirements- High school diploma or GED required- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record required
