Job Summary EMCOR Government Services is seeking a qualified Engineer/HVAC Mechanic to support building operations in Arlington, VA. This position is covered by the CBA for Local 99. #EGS #LI-NS1 Essential Duties & Responsibilities + Perform installation, scheduled and unscheduled maintenance and repair of all HVAC equipment. + Install, operate, maintain, inspect, adjust and repair building equipment such as chillers, air handlers, cooling towers, fans, pumps, motors, drives, filters, plumbing fixtures, induction units, VAV boxes, building control systems, dampers, meters, gauges, actuators, and related equipment. Boilers, their accessories, and appurtenances, all fired or unfired pressure vessels and vacuum systems. All refrigeration and air conditioning machines and their associated equipment, including maintenance and repair of cold storage spaces. All plumbing and piping, including water, gas, heating, and sanitation systems. All emergency power equipment. Qualifications u2022 Must have 3 u2013 6 yearsu2019 experience as a Building Engineer in a commercial environment. u2022 DC Third Class or a Maryland First class license is preferred. u2022 Must possess current CFC Universal License. u2022 Must have EMS experience. u2022 Must be able to work any shift assigned. u2022 Must be able to work weekends. u2022 Must be able to work overtime. u2022 Must be able to work safely. u2022 Must be a self-starter. u2022 Must be willing to adhere to company policies. u2022 Must have U.S. Residency for the last 5 years. Physical Demands Work requires an abundance of walking, bending, kneeling, and working in uncomfortable positions. Must be willing to work any shift.
