Make a difference Join us today TheGrievance Manager, in the Contracts and Compliance Bureau, leads and oversees the grievance process for the Montana Department of Corrections. In this role, you will manage all components of the grievance program, including policy development, program requirements, funding oversight, budgeting, data analysis, and reporting. You will interpret and monitor compliance with all relevant guidelines, laws, and regulations, and may conduct investigations into complaints or potential violations within the department. The Grievance Manager also supervises at least six fullu2011time employees and is responsible for department-level management functions such as hiring, performance management, discipline, workload distribution, and employee development in conjunction with the Contracts and Compliance BC. QUALIFICATIONS The knowledge, skills and abilities for this position are typically acquired through a combination of education and experience equivalent to: Bacheloru2019s degree in criminal justice, psychology, education, or related field 2 years of directly related experience. 1 year of supervisory or lead worker experience. Alternative combinations of education and experience will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
