About the Role As we continue to grow anddiversify, we're seeking a highly skilled and motivated Assembly Leadto join our team in Waukesha, WI. In this role, you'll be responsiblefor assembling and testing engines and other CFR products, assisting theManufacturing Supervisor in monitoring production, and training anddeveloping other associates on the shop floor. You'll be a keycontributor in building the tools that keep our global energyinfrastructure running smoothly. What You'll Need to Succeed: High SchoolDiploma/GED Minimum five years of hands-on mechanical orelectromechanical assembly experience Ability to read and interpretengineering drawings Strong mechanical aptitude, preferably with engineexperience Basic computer knowledge Physically able to lift and handle35 lbs. Serve as a technical point of contact forassemblers with process or assembly questions. Maintain awareness ofworkflow, safety practices, and general productivity while working onthe floor. Follow and model plant safety requirements at all times. Helpensure work meets established quality and delivery standards. Maintain aclean and organized work area. Provide respectful reminders regardingsafety and workplace expectations when needed; escalate ongoing concernsor issues to the Manufacturing Supervisor. Support the Supervisor'sleadership of the floor. Assist in training new and existing employeeson proper assembly techniques and procedures. Help reinforce correctmethods and documented processes on the floor. Communicate recurringtraining or skill gaps to the Supervisor. Perform testing andtroubleshooting as required. Operate necessary equipment including handtools, power tools, test engines, wash tank, paint booth, and overheadcrane. Step into a y assembly area as needed to support productiondemands, absences, or bottlenecks. Maintain high attention to detail toensure product quality and compliance with specifications.
