City/State: Saint Louis, Missouri Categories: Imaging Services Job Status: Full-Time Req ID : 106967 Additional Information About the Role BJC HealthCare System is hiring a Full-Time Breast Sonographer (RDMS) for Barnes Center for Advanced Med -CAM Breast Center ( _St. Louis, MO_ ) Position Details: + Day Shift hours: Mon-Fri + No Major holidays _& possibly 2 Saturdays per year with extra pay if work_ + RDMS or equivalent required + _Breast Sonography with x- ray (preferred_ _)_ Next Steps: + If selected to move forward with Interview Process, a Talent Advisor will contact you via email for a screen Overview Preferred Qualifications Role Purpose The Registered Diagnostic Sonographer performs ultrasound imaging, including but not limited to abdominal, small parts, and obstetrical, to adult and/or pediatric patients for the purpose of diagnosis and/or treatment of anatomic and physiologic disorders, and assist with needle procedures (i.e., biopsies, drainages, needle placements, etc.). May also perform vascular imaging Responsibilities + Ensures proper function and readiness of all equipment. + Performs ultrasound imaging examinations and ensures proper documentation of procedures. + Performs studies independently, may perform studies on-call, portable exams, and at other sites as required by work area.
