Coordinators will serve as the first point of contact for security incidents and emergency situations, offering a prompt response with appropriate guidance to effectively manage the safety of our customers and team members while mitigating further risk and impact to business operations.u200b What You'll be Doing: + u200bServesas the first point of contact for security incidents and emergencies, by supporting a 24/7/365 asset protection operations center. Handles incoming communications, including routine and emergency calls. + u200bUtilizes internal software, external intelligence feeds/alerts, access control, and video monitoring systems toassess and respond to incidents that could impact the company (weather, civil unrest, organized retail crime, and other significant events).Initiates appropriate response procedures in accordance with established protocols. + u200bTakes the lead in time-sensitive and complex situations that require decisive action by providing clear, calm & concise direction. + u200bCoordinates with cross-functional stakeholders including retail store managers, corporate security teams, law enforcement agencies, and external partners to provide timely and accurate updates in emergency and crisis situations.Processes requests for information to support urgent investigations. + u200bActivates mass notification system and generates written alerts about incidents that have impacted the business u2013 or may have the potential to. + u200bConducts travel security tracking and response management for all team members. + u200bDrafts intelligence reports, bulletins, and briefings to have disseminated to field leadership and corporate stakeholders. + u200bAnalyzes and investigates transaction activity and digital orders to detect high risk behaviors and prevent fraudulent activity. Assesses shoplifting patterns and techniques to identify organized retail crime activity. + u200bConducts initial intake and review of threats and provides initial safety planning guidance to store and asset protection leadership. + u200bPartners directly with a multitude of law enforcement agencies to process requests for information and support urgent investigations. + u200bAssistswith the maintenance and configuration ofof alarm, access control, and video surveillance systems. + u200bConducts ongoing and accurate audits of security systems to determine proper functionality. + u200bThis job profile is not meant to be all inclusive of the responsibilities of this position; may perform other duties as assigned or required.u200b What You Bring With You (Qualifications): + High School Diploma required. + Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience preferred. + u200bu200bExcellent communication skills; written and verbal. + u200bProvide excellent customer service with excellent follow through. + u200bAbility to use resources provided to make decisions without direct supervision. + u200bAbility to work in a team environment while completing projects as requested to achieve business objectives. + u200bProficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams). + u200bStrong investigative skills/techniques. + u200bUnderstanding of retail operations. + u200bBasic understanding of the criminaland civil justice systems. + u200bBasic understanding of Emergency Management and the incident command system.u200b We opened our doors more than 90 years ago with the goal of helping people provide for themselves and their family.
