This individual will develop and execute proactive strategies to attract and retain top talent for key positions across the Laitram family of companies. The recruiter will build and maintain a strong bench of qualified candidates to meet both current and future staffing needs. Partnering closely with hiring managers, this role will define recruitment strategies, assess talent needs, and ensure alignment with business objectives. Success in this position will require developing a deep understanding of the functions and markets we recruit for, building strong recruiting networks and relationships, and leveraging innovative sourcing techniques to identify and engage high-caliber candidates. Job Responsibilities and Requirements Responsibilities u2022 Manage full life cycle of the recruiting process for all open positions including but not limited to the following: + Lead full-cycle recruiting for assigned openings (professional, technical, and/or hourly), from intake meeting through offer acceptance + Partner with hiring managers to understand role requirements, team dynamics, and success profiles; develop and execute effective recruiting strategies + Source talent proactively using a mix of channels (job boards, social media, databases, networking, referrals, events) and continuously refine sourcing strategies based on results + Screen and assess candidates via phone and video or onsite interviews- evaluate skills, experience and cultural fit. + Coordinate interview logistics across multiple calendars, ensuring accurate communication and a seamless process for candidates and interviewers + Provide strategic thought partnership to hiring managers throughout the candidate selection process advising on candidates skill sets and company fit + Own the candidate experience by maintaining timely, transparent communication and representing Laitramu2019s values throughout the process u2022 Manage relationships with external recruiting vendors, including agencies and search firms, to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and alignment with our standards. u2022 Support early-talent and intern hiring, including collaboration with local universities and participation in campus events as needed. u2022 Represent Laitram in the community through targeted programs and events that strengthen our employer brand in the communities we serve. u2022 Stay current on recruiting trends and technology, bringing forward ideas and tools that enhance efficiency, candidate quality, and process improvements. Requirements u2022 Bacheloru2019s degree, preferably in Human Resources, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. u2022 Experience managing the full recruitment lifecycle, including sourcing, screening, interviewing (phone/video/onsite), reference checks, and offer support. u2022 Previous experience using databases, applicant tracking systems, and/or social media platforms (e.g., LinkedIn) for recruiting or sourcing. u2022 Strong interpersonal, organizational, written, and verbal communication skills with the ability to build credibility with hiring managers and candidates. u2022 Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). u2022 Demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to adapt to changing priorities. u2022 Ability to manage multiple requisitions and competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment. u2022 Willingness to travel occasionally overnight for recruiting events, training seminars, or conferences. u2022 Working knowledge of creative and innovative sourcing techniques (e.g., Boolean search, talent mapping, networking strategies).
