Job Description: At Regions, the Marketing Communications Graphic Designer supports the communications team through providing content and design solutions for various communications materials. Primary Responsibilities + Designs high-performing, compliant creative assets promoting banking and financial services products (e.g. checking, savings, credit cards, loans, wealth management) + Ensures designs align with brand visual identity standards, regulatory requirements (FDIC, CFPB, etc.), and best practices for financial services marketing + Organizes and manages training media assets in an appropriate archive or database so that they can be reused where appropriate + Collaborates with strategy teams to enhance personalization and dynamic content strategies + Maintains understanding of current graphics and media technologies and practices + Works closely with writers to ensure copy and creative work together seamlessly + Stays updated on banking and financial industry trends, compliance updates, and direct response best practices + Documents workflows and processes + Serves as a resource for junior designers This position is exempt from timekeeping requirements under the Fair Labor Standards Act and is not eligible for overtime pay. Requirements + Bacheloru2019s degree in Graphic Design, Marketing, Communications or a related field and six (6) years of direct design experience, preferably in banking, fintech, or financial services + Or High School Diploma or GED and ten (10) years of professional experience in marketing creative development Preferences + Proven success in marketing campaigns + Familiarity with financial services compliance (e.g., Reg E, Reg DD, UDAAP) + Knowledge of user-centered design methodologies and web design best practices Skills and Competencies + Ability to analyze performance metrics and refine copy based on results + Keen attention to detail, to ensure quality and accuracy at each deliverable stage + Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite tools and CMS tools + Strong time management skills + Strong understanding of customer journey mapping, segmentation, and data-driven personalization + Strong verbal, written communication, and organizational skills Additional Job Description The Marketing Communications Graphic Designer should have keen attention to detail, proven success in developing campaigns, and be prepared to work with a copy/creative partner to develop brand-building creative ideas and compelling design solutions that grows Regionsu2019 visual distinctiveness, driving customer interest, engagement, conversions and retention. This role will join a growing in-house creative team charged with developing category-defining creative solutions and shaping the Regions brand identity. Creative assignments will span across the companyu2019s business groups and require the ability to translates complex problems and communication strategies into simple and compelling solutions that drive brand affinity and business results ever-expanding brand touchpoints including print, video, social, digital, in-branch, email, direct mail, experiential and more. Position Type Full time Compensation Details Pay ranges are job specific and are provided as a point-of-market reference for compensation decisions. Other factors which directly impact pay for individual associates include: experience, skills, knowledge, contribution, job location and, most importantly, performance in the job role. As these factors vary by individuals, pay will also vary among individual associates within the same job. The target information listed below is based on the Metropolitan Statistical Area Market Range for where the position is located and level of the position.
