This role provides flexible field coverage, responds to security issues, and protects people, property, and company assets across a designated region. Success in this position requires adaptability, strong communication skills, and sound judgment in fast-paced environments. Requirements + Must be 21+ years old + Must pass Armed Security training and possess a valid pistol permit + Must have a valid, non-expired Driveru2019s License + Good motor vehicle record (MVR) required + Alabama Security Officer/Guard License (or ability to obtain and maintain) + Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays + Basic computer skills; ability to use a tablet for reports Duties & Responsibilities + Provide field support at multiple sites as needed, including weekends + Maintain situational awareness and demonstrate curiosity about surrounding activity + Deliver excellent customer service to employees and visitors + Stay calm and make effective decisions during critical or high-stress situations + Conduct walking patrols to enhance safety and identify security concerns + Monitor access points and verify identification and credentials + Maintain accurate activity logs, reports, and incident documentation + Enforce site-specific post orders and security procedures + Perform routine tasks: lock/unlock doors, arm/disarm systems, monitor cameras + Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, and incidents + Maintain a clean, professional uniform and appearance + Support compliance with SEI and client policies (smoking, loitering, parking, etc.) Required Skills & Abilities + Ability to function well in fast-paced or stressful environments + Strong communication and interpersonal skills Preferred Skills & Abilities + Quick decision-making during emergencies + Comfortable working in high-risk or high-stress situations Physical Requirements + Ability to stand or sit for extended periods + Walk at least u00bd mile without stopping + Climb at least 20 commercial facility stairs without stopping Education & Experience + High School Diploma or equivalent + Minimum 1 year armed security experience Additional Note Duties, responsibilities, and qualifications listed above are not exhaustive.
