About the Role As a Mechanical Design Engineer IV, you will serve as a key technical contributor supporting the development, improvement, and manufacturability of advanced mechanical components. Your work will directly influence production quality, supply chain performance, and the successful qualification of critical hardware used in demanding energy applications. Key Responsibilities In this role, you will: + Provide mechanical design support across global supply chain and crossu2011functional teams, ensuring hardware meets performance, quality, and manufacturability expectations. + Lead designu2011foru2011manufacturability efforts and apply lean engineering methodologies to enhance product flow and reduce defects. + Conduct engineering assessments to disposition hardware nonu2011conformances, driving corrective actions and continuous improvement. + Support process qualifications, equipment validations, and technical approval of new or updated manufacturing processes. + Apply mechanical engineering expertise to improve component functionality, reduce cost, and optimize design solutions. + Engage in supplieru2011focused improvement activities, including Kaizens and Lean Action Workouts. + Contribute to technology development involving castings, coatings, machining, precision drilling, and other manufacturing special processes. + Foster strong collaboration within global engineering teams while promoting operational excellence and a qualityu2011driven mindset.
