Position Summary This position is responsible for providingour services directly to homeowners, landlords, building owners andother utility customers. You will provide expert advice and coordinationfor our programs while recommending specific modifications to electricand/or gas systems; you will also convince prospective clients of theimproved efficiency that our services will bring. This role combinesfield work with office time (typically 3 field days to 2 office days perweek). This position will provide energy advice and coordinationservices for customers-including trade partner facilitation-and willidentify opportunities regarding energy efficiency and introduce thevarious prescriptive and custom incentive measures that pertain to thecustomer segment. Essential Duties and Responsibilities This list ofduties and responsibilities is not all-inclusive and may be expanded toinclude other duties and responsibilities, as management may deemnecessary from time to time. Direct installation of energy savingproducts as directed by program management Adhering to the safetyrequirements of the organization and the utility client Promote theenergy efficiency program to customers, trade allies and programstakeholders within your assigned territory Understand and implementthe company's Sales Process, including but not limited to: Makeoutbound calls to existing customers to meet assigned energy savingtargets Initiate new business with new customers throughbusiness-to-business efforts Manage field time effectively withcustomer, Trade Ally and program stakeholder visits Develop anddeliver presentations to create awareness about the program Respondto customer inquiries and concerns by phone, electronically or in personto move projects towards completion Work with utility customers toprovide energy efficiency and the business activities of its customers Identify and provide documentation of on-site opportunities andwritten summary reports for energy efficiency to customers andclient/Program Manager, provide follow-up to as required Discusstechnical elements of energy consuming equipment-i.e., lighting, HVAC,hot water system, building and pipe insulation, and air sealing Enterdata into spreadsheets and database to determine energy savings and tomanage current projects which may also include collaborating with EnergyEngineers as required Maintain professional appearance and behaviorappropriate for a representative of our organization and the utility Build quick rapport with customers.
