Lab Assistant

Job Title: Lab Assistant Job Description Join our dynamic team as a Lab Assistant, where you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and timely reporting of lab results. You will be responsible for managing computer-based tasks, including responding to emails and collaborating with various groups to address client concerns. Additionally, you will engage in manual processing tasks such as aliquoting samples and isolating PBMCs, all while maintaining meticulous records and documentation. Responsibilities + Perform computer-based tasks including responding to emails and collaborating with other groups to address client concerns. + Ensure results are delivered within the required turnaround time and address any related questions. + Maintain accurate record keeping and documentation. + Conduct manual processing of samples, including aliquoting and isolating PBMCs. + Follow standard operating procedures accurately and efficiently. + Handle specimen processing and patient information with care. Essential Skills + High School Diploma or GED; an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in sciences is preferred. + Experience in laboratory settings, including specimen collection and handling. + Proficient in data entry and inventory management. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Candidates with healthcare experience are highly regarded. Work Environment The position is based on-site in Leola, requiring business casual attire. The work schedule is primarily for the 2nd shift from 1 PM to 9:30 PM, with alternating Saturdays. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a large contract lab environment. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Lancaster, PA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $37440.00 - $41184.00/yr. Full-time employees with a regular schedule of 30 hours per week are eligible for the benefits described in this guide, unless otherwise stated. When Benefits Become Effective Coverage for most benefit plans are effective following 31 days of employment. Part-time, seasonal, temporary, internship, and contracted employees are not eligible to participate. Eligible Dependents Your dependents are eligible to participate in Eurofins' benefit plans.
