CVICU Registered Nurse in Arlington, TN

This opportunity seeks an experienced Registered Nurse with a focus in Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) nursing within a pediatric setting. The position is based in Arlington, Tennessee, serving a premier childrens hospital recognized as a Level I Pediatric Trauma Center. This role operates on a contract basis with a start date as soon as possible, offering a structured day shift schedule.Schedule/Hours: Day shifts 3 shifts per week 12-hour shifts (07:00 AM - 07:00 PM) Qualifications and Desired Experience: Minimum of 2 years pediatric nursing experience required Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in compliance with the Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) guidelines Prior CVICU or pediatric ICU experience strongly preferred Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred Candidates must have recent clinical experiencefirst-time travelers without 3+ years recent experience will not be considered Must be willing to work weekends as needed; weekend block schedules open to discussion during interview Candidates residing outside a 100-mile radius of Arlington, TN are preferred; local candidates within this radius are not accepted Responsibilities: Deliver specialized cardiovascular critical care to pediatric patients in a high-acuity environment Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans Monitor patient conditions and respond promptly to changes Support families and patients with education and compassionate communication Maintain compliance with hospital protocols and pediatric care standards About Arlington, Tennessee:Arlington offers a welcoming community with access to excellent medical facilities, outdoor activities, and family-friendly amenities.
