This is an entry-level position ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, variety in daily tasks, and being part of a supportive team. The role focuses on basic cleaning, simple repairs, and assisting with facility upkeep to meet Homefree’s SQF and food safety standards. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Help keep production and common areas clean and organized Sweep, mop, wipe down surfaces, and empty trash as needed Assist with basic facility repairs such as tightening handles, changing light bulbs, or replacing tiles Support equipment and facility cleaning following SQF and GMP procedures Operate the ware washer, washing machine, and dryer as trained Restock supplies and cleaning materials Report any maintenance or safety concerns to a supervisor promptly Assist the Maintenance Technician or Production team with small tasks or projects Follow all food safety, quality, and safety policies Maintain a positive attitude and willingness to learn new tasks Qualifications: Reliable and able to work independently once trained Comfortable using basic hand tools (hammer, screwdriver, etc.) Able to follow directions and communicate clearly Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs and stay on feet for most of the shift Willingness to learn SQF and GMP cleaning procedures Schedule: Monday-Friday, typically 2:00 PM-8:00 PM (flexible depending on workload)Occasional extended hours for special projects
