Learn more about our program at: Pay: $25/hour (Professional Educator Rate) Schedule: Monday-Friday, approximately 8 hours per day Season: June 8 - August 14, 2026 Campers: Ages 4-13 Position Overview As a Giants Baseball & Softball Camps Educator, you will guide campers through daily baseball and softball activities that combine skill instruction with mentorship and character development. You will work closely with Site Directors and fellow staff members to ensure campers have a safe, engaging, and memorable camp experience. Core Responsibilities Lead campers through baseball and softball drills and gamesTeach fundamental skills such as throwing, hitting, and fieldingEncourage teamwork, sportsmanship, and positive behaviorMaintain a safe and organized camp environmentProvide constructive feedback during drills and gamesIdentify teachable moments to help campers grow What We’re Looking For Successful candidates typically: Have experience working with children ages 4-13Are comfortable demonstrating baseball or softball fundamentalsEnjoy teaching and mentoring young studentsBring positive energy and enthusiasmCommunicate well with children and staffDemonstrate reliability and professionalism Ideal backgrounds include: Elementary School TeachersMiddle School TeachersPhysical Education TeachersSubstitute TeachersCredentialed educatorsTeachers who have coached or played baseball/softball Schedule & Commitment Monday-Friday scheduleApproximately 8-hour camp daysCamps run weekly from June 8 - August 14, 20263-5 week commitment preferred Candidates must have reliable transportation and pass a background screening.
