Responsibilities u2022 Reviews the work of designers developing documents as needed for the project. u2022 Advanced CAD support to develop and issue detailed I&C design drawings. u2022 Modeling instrumentation and control systems equipment in SP3D. u2022 Review and comment on vendor documentation. u2022 Create instrument junction box and control room layout drawings. u2022 Perform instrument wiring from device to control system panel. u2022 Create Fire & Gas layout drawings. u2022 Create & generate loop diagrams in SPI/CAD. u2022 Uses applicable industry codes and standards to complete assignments. u2022 Performs and leads quality checks of the design and engineering of major-sized projects to ensure accuracy. u2022 Plans work independently with no supervision and consults others on technical details of their work. u2022 Travels to project site for walk downs, reviews, and meetings as needed. u2022 I&C design lead for all sizes of projects and proposals. u2022 Provides guidance, technical support, and training to other designers. u2022 Supports engineering schedule development and project progress claiming. u2022 Estimates I&C designer hours for new project proposals or change orders. Qualifications u2022 Associate degree or High School diploma. u2022 8-20+ years of relevant experience. u2022 Self-directs work with no supervision. u2022 Demonstrable experience with listed responsibilities above. u2022 Communicates effectively and can present ideas clearly and professionally. u2022 Able to manage multiple responsibilities concurrently. u2022 Knowledgeable of industry codes and standards. u2022 Advanced experience utilizing a computer-aided drafting program (MicroStation, AutoCAD, Navis Works, 3D modeling) u2022 Advanced skills in SPI. u2022 Proficient in Microsoft Office Tools software #LI-TD28 #LI-Hybrid Other Requirements: u2022 Regular, reliable attendance u2022 Work productively and meet deadlines timely u2022 Communicate and interact effectively and professionally with supervisors, employees, and others individually or in a team environment. u2022 Perform work safely and effectively.
