Senior Developer

Description We are looking for an experienced Senior Developer to join our team in Southern California. In this long-term contract role, you will play a key part in developing and maintaining advanced data models, dashboards, and web applications to provide strategic insights for this teams Executives. This position offers the opportunity to collaborate in an agile environment, leveraging cutting-edge technologies to deliver impactful solutions. Responsibilities: u2022 Design and implement dashboards, data models, and visualizations using modern technology standards. u2022 Develop and maintain reporting assets in MicroStrategy, including custom web app dashboards built with React. u2022 Utilize AI-assisted coding tools to streamline prototyping, documentation, and development processes while adhering to code quality standards. u2022 Migrate legacy analytics to a React framework, optimizing performance and ensuring seamless integration. u2022 Analyze business requirements to create technical specifications for reporting, data models, and database solutions. u2022 Collaborate with technical leads and architects to adopt new technologies and standards that align with business strategies. u2022 Perform data modeling and semantic optimization to enhance reporting accuracy and system performance. u2022 Facilitate communication with remote teammates and stakeholders to ensure project alignment and success. u2022 Ensure proper governance and security protocols are implemented within all developed solutions. Requirements u2022 Bacheloru2019s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field. u2022 At least 6 years of experience with MicroStrategy and 5 years in Data Warehousing. u2022 Proficiency in Python, React, and AI-assisted coding tools. u2022 Familiarity with Databricks or Snowflake platforms. u2022 Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with meticulous attention to detail. u2022 Experience with TypeScript and creating custom web applications. u2022 Knowledge of media, entertainment, and financial data. u2022 Ability to work effectively in an agile environment and with remote teams.
