General Maintenance Mechanic

Our client, a leading organization in manufacturing, is seeking a dedicated and skilled General Maintenance Mechanic to join their team. As a General Maintenance Mechanic, you will be an integral part of the Maintenance Department supporting operational excellence. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong troubleshooting skills, a proactive attitude, and excellent teamwork abilities, which will align successfully within the organization. Job Title: General Maintenance Mechanic Location: Oakdale, CA Pay Range: $38.94 Shift: 1st shift 6am- 2:30pm Monday - Friday Plus overtime on Saturdays What's the Job? + Improve the reliability of plant equipment through preventive and predictive maintenance. + Troubleshoot, repair, and rebuild industrial machinery to ensure continuous production. + Perform routine adjustments and validate repairs to ensure issues are fully resolved. + Support changeovers, dismantling, evaluation, and rebuilding of equipment as needed. + Maintain accurate records of work orders and maintenance activities using SAP. What's Needed? + Minimum of two years experience as a maintenance mechanic in an industrial setting. + Strong mechanical aptitude with troubleshooting skills. + Knowledge of fabrication and welding, including TIG, MIG, and SMAW techniques. + Proficiency in using SAP for work order management and documentation. + Ability to communicate effectively in English, both orally and in writing.
