In this role, youu2019ll take projects from early concept through construction, working on a diverse portfolio of land development, residential, and site civil design projects throughout New York State and New York City. What Youu2019ll Do + Lead and support civil site design projects from concept through construction. + Prepare comprehensive design plans, including: + Site layout and grading + Drainage and utility systems + Stormwater management systems + Erosion and sediment control + Perform stormwater management analysis and design, including hydrologic and hydraulic modeling, in compliance with NYSDEC and NYCDEP standards. + Develop erosion and sediment control plans, prepare permit applications, and coordinate with local and state regulatory agencies. + Produce detailed engineering drawings and construction documents using AutoCAD and Civil 3D. + Conduct site visits and field assessments, collaborating closely with contractors, architects, and other project stakeholders. + Assist with engineering reports, technical analyses, specifications, and cost estimates. + Ensure all designs comply with New York State and NYC codes, regulations, and permitting requirements. What You Bring Required Experience & Skills + Minimum 3+ years of experience in land development and site civil design. + Strong proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D. + Hands-on experience with stormwater management, grading, drainage design, and erosion & sediment control design and permitting. + Working knowledge of NY State and NYC regulations and standards. Preferred Qualifications + Experience working on projects in both New York State and New York City. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $53.00 - $68.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
