Description Position Overview We are seeking a hands-on, strategic Controller to lead and manage the full accounting function across multiple international entities. This role goes beyond traditional financial reportingu2014you will oversee end-to-end accounting operations, ensure strong internal controls, and partner with leadership to drive accuracy, efficiency, and scalability. Key Responsibilities Oversee full-cycle accounting, including ownership of the monthly close process Lead multi-entity consolidations across U.S. and LATAM operations Manage intercompany transactions and eliminations Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP and IFRS standards Oversee currency exchange accounting and international financial reporting Strengthen and maintain internal controls, particularly around inventory and cost accounting Partner with leadership on financial strategy, reporting, and operational insights Supervise and develop a team of ~10 accounting professionals across multiple countries Support payroll processes and financial accuracy across entities Collaborate cross-functionally on accounting policies and process improvements Qualifications CPA required Bilingual (English/Spanish) 10+ years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership Strong background in cost accounting and inventory controls Experience with QuickBooks (Enterprise preferred) Proven experience managing month-end close independently Experience with multi-entity consolidations and international operations Exposure to LATAM markets (Mexico, Colombia, Peru strongly preferred) Knowledge of VAT (Mexico highly preferred) Strong understanding of GAAP and IFRS Experience in a mid-sized company, hands-on environment Excellent leadership skills with ability to manage remote/international teams Nice to Have Exposure to real estate accounting/investments Experience in a holding company structure Requirements Month End Close, Internal Control, Financial Statement Preparation, US GAAP, IFRS Accounting, Intercompany Eliminations, Foreign Currency Translation, Foreign Exchange Transaction, Leadership Skills, International Tax Compliance, Latam, Spanish Language, Cost Accounting Robert Half is the worldu2019s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
