Maintenance Mechanic

Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic Afternoon shift or Night Shift Minerva $28-$40/hour Job Description We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to join our team. This position involves working on either the 2nd shift (3 PM - 11 PM) or 3rd shift (11 PM - 7 AM). The role is located in Alliance, OH, and offers competitive hourly rates. The successful candidate will have the ability to troubleshoot, install, and repair machinery and tools, as well as fabricate using manual lathes and mills. Responsibilities + Troubleshoot, install, and repair machinery and tools. + Fabricate using manual lathes and mills. + Troubleshoot and repair pneumatic and hydraulic components. + Read and interpret blueprints and manuals. + Perform daily maintenance and repair of stoke pumps, vacuum furnaces, vacuum pumps, and boosters. + Assist in other plant maintenance tasks as required. + Repair and maintain other plant equipment as needed. + Maintain a positive work atmosphere by communicating effectively with customers, clients, co-workers, and supervisors. + Follow all safety rules and regulations. + Perform other duties as instructed by the supervisor. Essential Skills + In-depth experience in general maintenance of all plant equipment. + Ability to troubleshoot and repair critical machinery. + Experience with vacuum furnace operation and repair. + exp with hydraulics, plumbing, pipe fitting, welding, and soldering. + Experience in electrical troubleshooting and maintenance repair. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience with manual lathes and mills. + Experience in fabrication and welding. + General knowledge of pneumatics and 3-phase motors. Why Work Here? The shift hours offer unlimited overtime, with a 20-minute paid lunch and 1-3 ten-minute paid breaks. Flexibility to work all shifts is required due to bidding and union policies.
