Special Education Teacher - 2026/2027 School Year

?? Position: Special Education Teacher ?? District: Beloit School District ?? Pay Rate: $45.00/hour ? What is the duration of this assignment? ? This is a full-school-year assignment, running from the start of the current academic term through the end of the school year. Extensions or summer opportunities may be available depending on district needs. ? What is the schedule? ?? + Monday u2013 Friday + Full-time (approx. 37.5u201340 hrs/week) + Typical school hours: 7:30 AM u2013 3:30 PM + Additional time may be required for: + IEP meetings + Parent communication + Planning & team collaboration ?? What are the key responsibilities? ?? + Provide direct instruction to students with mild-to-moderate disabilities. + Implement, monitor, and document IEPs in compliance with state/district rules. + Collaborate with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, and support staff. + Adapt lessons and curriculum to meet individual student needs. + Track data and maintain progress-monitoring documentation. + Participate in IEP meetings, planning sessions, and professional development. ?? What are the job requirements? ? + Valid Wisconsin DPI Special Education License (or eligibility). + Bacheloru2019s degree in Special Education or related field. + Strong knowledge of IEP procedures and compliance standards. + Ability to support diverse learning and behavioral needs. + Strong communication, data-collection, and collaboration skills. + Experience with behavior strategies and classroom management is a plus.
