Job Description Our client is seeking a Senior Safety Coordinator to work out of a fabrication shop in Brandywine, MD. This position will assist the Safety Manager by planning, coordinating and implementing Southlandu2019s safety, health and environmental protection programs, ensuring compliance with corporate safety standards and industry regulations, and promoting a safe, incident-free work environment for employees. - Report concerns to safety management and ensure health and safety standards are met by coordinating, promoting and conducting various programs and activities related to the safety management system. - Document safety inspections, cite dangerous areas/procedures and recommend corrective procedures. - Provide recommendations for correcting non-compliance issues and ensure cited issues are corrected within designated time frame We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
