Plant Manager

Job Title: Plant Manager Location: Lake Charles, Louisianna Overview + Lead safe, reliable, and efficient operations at the production facility. Oversee production, packaging, and logistics to deliver highu2011quality products on time and within budget. Drive operational excellence, ensure regulatory compliance, and strengthen EHS performance. Support sales demand and enable the business to achieve financial targets. Responsibilities Responsibilities + Oversee production operations by aligning resources, planning campaign startu2011ups, securing necessary support and materials, and ensuring full PSMu2011MI compliance to meet plant output goals. + Provide leadership that develops and sustains an environment that encourages individual initiative, creativity and growth. Support, encourage and foster team development. + Monitor and facilitate environmental activities (i.e. air quality, wastewater, hazardous material disposal, etc.) to ensure plant compliance with federal, state and local environmental rules and regulations. + Oversee financial management of the facility including budget performance monitoring, development and management of the operating budget, and development and execution of the capital plan. + Lead quality systems by maintaining ISO 9001 certification, ensuring procedure compliance, managing audits, and participating in quality steering team activities. + Manage the development, planning, and implementation of a largeu2011scale plant expansion, with responsibility for identifying and closing resource gaps from planning through commissioning. + Manage governmentu2011related coordination with DLA and industry partners, including reporting, technical support, and issue resolution. + Support strategic planning and evaluate government project opportunities to advance site growth. + Represent Calca Solutions within the community by participating in the area Citizens Advisory Panel, engaging with Lake Area Industry Alliance (LAIA), Louisiana Chemical Association (LCA) and other organizations as appropriate, and serving as the facilityu2019s spokesperson. + Maintain compliance with ISO 9001 standards and all applicable safety policies to ensure safe and consistent operations.
