Job Title: Fitter/Welder Job Description Join our team as a Fitter/Welder, where you will play a crucial role in the fabrication and assembly of industrial air coolers. This position combines fitter and welder responsibilities in a high-volume manufacturing environment. Responsibilities + Fabricate and assemble industrial air coolers using steel components, tube bundles, frames, and cooler housings. + Ensure each unit is built to precise specifications, adhering to high-quality standards. + Perform welding tasks, including passing a 3G fill root flux test and a bend test on site. + Collaborate with team members to meet production goals efficiently and safely. + Be open to working extended hours, including Fridays, when necessary. Essential Skills + Proficiency in fabrication and welding techniques. + Ability to read and interpret blueprints and structural drawings. + Strong attention to detail. + Punctuality and reliability. + Willingness to be trained on various tasks. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment is a plus. + Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Why Work Here? Work Environment The work environment is non-climate controlled. Team members must be adaptable to varying temperatures and conditions typical of a manufacturing setting. The standard shift is from 5 am to 5:30 pm, with flexibility required for additional hours, especially on Fridays. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Wagoner, OK. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $26.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your jobclassification and length of employment.
