And ifyou’rerelocatingto join us, you could be eligible for relocationassistance.Our Center for Workplace Violence Prevention and Caregiver Well-Being sets caregiver safety as a priority,identifying,reportingand responding to incidents and providing safety resources.A caregiver who excels in this role will:Participate in a residency core curriculum based on individual learning needs.Provide direct nursing care alongside asuccesscoach.Establish and/or revise priorities for patient care (acuity of need, patientpreferenceand resource availability).Respond to dataindicatingrisk to patients’ health and initiate action to correct, reduce or preventrisk.Seeksupervision,consultationandassistancewhen unable to perform safely and independently.Documentinpatients’ medical records.Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:Graduate from an accredited School of Professional Nursing(Diploma,ADNor BSN program)Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)or American Red CrossNew graduate or less than one yearofRN work experience OR if experienced RN moving from non-inpatient to acute direct care clinical inpatient setting with less than one year of current acute direct patient care RN experiencePreferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:Bachelor’sofScience inNursing (BSN)Physical Requirements: Requires full range of body motion including handling and lifting patient, manual and finger dexterity, and eye-hand coordination.Requires standing and walking for extended periods of time.Requires corrected vision and hearing to normal range.Requires working under stressful conditions and irregular hours.Exposure to communicable diseases and/or body fluids.Medium Work - Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.Physical Demand requirements are in excess of those for Light Work.Personal Protective Equipment: Follows Standard Precautions using personal protective equipment as required for procedures.Pay RangeMinimum hourly: $35.50Maximum hourly: $55.60The pay range displayed on this job posting reflects the anticipated range for new hires. A successful candidate’s actual compensation will be determined after taking factors into consideration such as the candidate’s work history, experience, skill set and education. The pay range displayed does not include any applicable pay practices (e.g., shift differentials, overtime, etc.).
