summary Pipe FittersPipe Fitters for day or night positionsJob Summary:Pipe Fitter lay out, assemble, install and maintain pipe systems, pipe supports, and related hydraulic and pneumatic equipment.Duties:Interpretation of mechanical drawings, including the ability to read weld symbolsKnowledge of wire and filler materials applications for various steel alloys, aluminum, and some exotic materialsWorking knowledge of fixturing and weld set up parameters (amps, volts, etc.)Convention and precision measuring instrumentsProcess inspection, certification, and documentationWelding equipment maintenance and inspectionFinish grinding applications using manual and power toolsSafety and housekeepingOther duties as assigned by supervisorRequirements:Minimum 3+ year experience working within a manufacturing environment/facilityBe prepared to stand for 8–10-12 hour shiftsResume requiredPay: $25-$33 depends on experience. 2nd shift differential.Shift: 1st shift - 6am - 6:00pm (flexible to work 10/12 hours)Shift: 2nd shift – 4:30 pm – 3:30 am (flexible to 10-hour shifts/Saturdays required) required-skills: Steel toed footwear required-experience: 3 years of fabrication exp
