We are searching for a Database Administrator 1 with strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills to join our Solutions Management team. This position allows you to utilize your specialized skill set while completing advanced technical work in all phases of database development activities. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for supporting the application development lifecycle through planning, designing, developing, implementing, data migration, quality assurance, data cleanup, and data administration. Work involves database operation activities such as database administration, database security, assuring availability, server monitoring, performance monitoring, capacity planning, SQL software installation and configuration, and Service Pack installations. Additional details regarding this position can be found in the position description.Work Schedule and Additional Information:Full-time employmentWork hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time, up to 3 days per week. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg. The ability to telework is subject to change at any time. Check your email, including spam/junk folders, for these notices.u00a0 REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITYQUALIFICATIONSMinimum Experience and Training Requirements:One year as a Database Analyst or Information Technology Generalist 2 (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); orFive years of information technology experience that includes two years in the analysis, design, and maintenance of databases in overall support of database administration; orThree years of information technology experience that includes two years in the analysis, design, and maintenance of databases in overall support of database administration, and an associate's degree in any information technology field; orOne year of information technology experienc in the analysis, design, and maintenance of databases in overall support of database administration, and a bachelor's degree in any information technology field; orAn equivalent combination of experience and training.Other Requirements:You must meet the PA residency requirement.
