Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Business Development Coordinator to join our team on a contract basis in Austin, Texas. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in supporting sales initiatives, ensuring opportunities are effectively tracked, coordinated, and advanced through the sales process. This position offers a chance to collaborate with key stakeholders, manage inbound and outbound sales activities, and contribute to the overall growth of the organization. Responsibilities: u2022 Maintain accurate and up-to-date sales records in the CRM system, ensuring real-time visibility of opportunities. u2022 Track and manage opportunities through established sales stages, logging meetings, calls, and next steps. u2022 Assist with drafting and coordinating proposals by gathering input from subject matter experts and managers. u2022 Monitor internal deadlines and follow up to ensure deliverables are completed on time, escalating issues as necessary. u2022 Respond promptly to inbound sales inquiries and schedule meetings for the Business Development team and leadership. u2022 Support outbound prospecting efforts by refining outreach lists and tracking activity metrics. u2022 Research municipal and industry sources to identify potential leads and early indicators of upcoming projects. u2022 Help prepare for and staff industry events, including trade shows and networking opportunities. u2022 Provide weekly pipeline reports to leadership, highlighting stalled opportunities and areas needing attention. u2022 Ensure timely follow-up on proposals and maintain consistent communication with clients throughout the sales process. Requirements u2022 Experience with CRM systems or similar tools for prospecting and client tracking. u2022 Background in construction, engineering, architecture, or related industries is highly desired. u2022 Strong customer service skills with a focus on clear and detail-oriented communication. u2022 Previous experience in sales support, client management, or administrative roles related to sales. u2022 Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines while maintaining attention to detail. u2022 Proficiency in both inbound and outbound sales activities, including lead generation and follow-up. u2022 Willingness to attend in-state trade shows and networking events as needed.
