About the Role The Progression team is focused on aligning outcomes for Earners and Uber to drive long-term Earner behavior across various gig types-including rideshare, food delivery, and groceries-which account for millions of daily trips in the Uber driver app. This role extends this impact to fleet couriers, a key supply growth bet for Uber As a Progression's Fleet Scheduling Product Manager, you will join a high-impact team helps balance supply with demand in fleet markets around the world. You'll shape the fleet couriers' scheduling daily experience (Uber Driver App homepage), while refining algorithms that identify required supply, and collaborate across the organization to unlock other teams and third parties. Role has cross org visibility and a heavy focus on EMEA. What the Candidate Will Need / Bonus Points What the Candidate Will Do 1. Strategy: Define and product strategy to maximize fleet courier utilization, with a direct connection to Uber's bottom line. 2. Align teams: Work closely with teams across Uber including Eng, Data Science, and Operations to align business and product strategy. 3. Execute: Translate user needs and insights into product requirements by distilling user problems, writing hypotheses, and describing desired outcomes. 4. Iterate: Distill insights from various data sources such as performance dashboards, experimentation results, and user research. Then apply the findings back into the product development process. Basic Qualifications 1. Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business Management or equivalent. 2. Experience working with design on complex UI challenges 3. At least 5 years of experience as a Product Manager. 4. Experience building consumer products. This is a user-focused role, so experience delivering highly successful and creative mobile user-facing products is a must. 5. Experience using data to drive strategic decisions. This is a complex problem space, requiring experience with experimentation and data-driven decision-making. 6. Excellent stakeholder management skills. Preferred Qualifications 1. Experience in workforce management. 2. Experience with scaled or platform products. 3. Experience reward systems and psychology. 4. Deep understanding of marketplace mechanics. 5. Owned strategy for whole products or lines of business. For San Francisco, CA-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$190,000 per year - USD$211,000 per year. For Seattle, WA-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$190,000 per year - USD$211,000 per year. For all US locations, you will be eligible to participate in Uber's bonus program, and may be offered an equity award & other types of comp.
