*Warehouse Worker – Medical Logistics Support (Navy Base)** **? Full‑time | Stable schedule | Mission‑driven work** **? As a **Warehouse Worker / Medical Materiel Specialist II** , you’ll handle essential warehouse operations that keep medical units supplied, organized, and deployment‑ready. If you enjoy hands‑on work, staying organized, and being part of a mission that truly matters, this is a great opportunity. **⭐** **What You’ll Do** + Perform daily warehouse operations: **receiving, shipping, storing, picking, packing, and inventory** + **Use systems like DMLSS, HIMS** , or other authorized databases to process transactions + Review and restock medical logistics items; replace expired or outdated materials + Conduct inventory counts, location surveys, and stock adjustments + Inspect incoming materials and verify documentation + Prepare materials for rapid deployment using **Pick, Pack, Preserve & Crate (PPP&C)** + **Support kitting, crating, and shipping of medical equipment** + **Maintain accurate records and perform basic administrative tasks** + **Research quality assurance messages and resolve documentation discrepancies** + **Keep assigned warehouse sections clean, organized, and inspection‑ready** + **Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment (certification required)** **⭐** **What You Bring** + Experience with **DMLSS, HIMS** , or similar logistics/medical materiel systems + Experience in warehouse operations, supply chain, or inventory management + Ability to operate or maintain certification for forklifts, cherry pickers, and other MHE + Comfortable wearing PPE and working in an austere warehouse environment + Ability to lift and carry **40+ lbs** + **Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation** **⭐** **Preferred Qualifications** + Experience in **medical logistics** , DoD supply chain, or Navy warehouse operations + Familiarity with Navy guidelines, DoD publications, and medical allowance lists + Strong administrative and warehouse maintenance skills **⭐** **Why You’ll Love Working Here** + Meaningful work supporting **Navy medical readiness and deployment missions** + **Stable, long‑term opportunity with room for growth** + **Supportive team environment with clear processes and training** + **A role where accuracy, organization, and reliability are truly valued** **⭐** **Work Environment** + Warehouse setting on a Navy base + PPE required (safety glasses, gloves, etc.) + Regular standing, walking, lifting, and equipment operation + Fast‑paced, mission‑focused environment **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract position based out of Williamsburg, VA. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $22.38 - $22.94/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
