Development Manager

Flying Cloud Institute seeks a dedicated and capable fundraiser with a proven track record in raising funds in the nonprofit sector. They will be responsible for developing and delivering on the overall fundraising strategy of the organization, supplementing existing grant funding with unrestricted funding from individuals, corporations, grant-makers, and other sources. The Development Manager will be responsible for developing a diverse range of sustainable funding streams to support and expand the work of the organization, working in collaboration with the Executive Director. This individual will also be responsible for developing communications and maintaining accurate grant reports. - A strong track record of securing funding for nonprofit activities from a variety of funding streams - A strong writing portfolio of communication and awareness-raising materials, including nonprofit storytelling - Minimum 2 years relevant experience - Experience using G Suite, Excel, and Canva - Proficiency with donor databases (Little Green Light a plus) - Must have reliable transportation, a clean driving record, and have had a driver's license for a minimum of three consecutive years - Must be able to successfully pass a CORI and SORI background check
