( A Taste of What Youu2019ll Do As a Market Development Manager u2013 Retail Wine & Spirits, you will play a critical role in growing Gallou2019s presence and performance across retail accounts by bringing strategy to life in the market. Youu2019ll work side by side with distributor partners, engaging sales representatives and managers to execute programs, close gaps, and expand distribution of Gallo brands. With a strong understanding of deal structures, pricing, and competitive dynamics, youu2019ll identify opportunities and surface insights that shape broader market strategy. Your days will be dynamic and purposeful, balancing planning with action. Youu2019ll prioritize your time based on opportunity, business performance, and the needs of the marketu2014coaching, motivating, and supporting distributor teams to drive results. Youu2019ll leverage data, technology, and marketing intelligence to monitor performance, guide decisions, and optimize resources, all while keeping a sharp focus on growth. Beyond execution, youu2019ll serve as a Gallo ambassador in the community, building trusted relationships with accounts and distributor leadership. What Youu2019ll Need + Bacheloru2019s degree plus 2 years of Gallo winery or distributor sales reflecting increasing levels of responsibility; OR Bacheloru2019s degree plus 3 years of wine or spirits sales, marketing, restaurant/hospitality, or distributor experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility; OR High school diploma or State u2011 issued equivalency certificate plus 6 years of Gallo winery or distributor sales experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility; OR High school diploma or State u2011 issued equivalency certificate plus 7 years of wine or spirits sales, marketing, restaurant/hospitality, or distributor experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility. + Candidate is required to have a valid driveru2019s license, a safe driving record and reliable vehicle (if applicable) at the time of hire. This position will undergo a motor vehicle check (MVR) to confirm a history of safe and responsible driving.
