SRT Technical Manager - Advanced Engines

SRT is seeking an experienced Engine Technical Manager to lead the technical definition, development, and validation of the fuel system and its components across all SRT products. This role partners with the Propulsion Systems HVAC & Engine Systems, SRT Vehicle Performance, and SRT Controls & Calibration System Integration teams to deliver highly capable performance vehicles. The Technical Manager will be responsible for: Leadership & Management:Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of engineers, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment. Project Oversight: Oversee the design, development, and implementation ofSRT Engines & Adaptation, ensuring they meet quality, safety, and performance standards. Cross-Functional Collaboration:Work closely with cross-functional teams to define project requirements, deliverables, andprojecttimelines, ensuring seamless integration and execution. Technical Guidance:Conduct regular project reviews,providingtechnical guidance, troubleshooting, and support to the engineering team. Communication:Understand and followdepartmentsbusiness model, strategic direction, purpose, and mission and continually communicate that to direct reports. Strategic Planning:Work with Director toparticipateindepartmentsresource planning, goal setting and road map or engineering footprint creation. Technical Specification:Assistengineers in generating detailed system and sub-system technical specifications (SSTS/TTS) to ensure functionalobjectivesare met. Problem Solving:Assistthe team inidentifyingthe root causeof the issueand collaborative problem-solving. Work closely with suppliers to develop and implement effective technical solutions, ensuringtimelyresolution and minimal disruption to project timelines. Total Warranty Cost Reductionand value optimization:Collaborate with teams toidentifyareas of improvement to reduce total warranty costandpropose technical solutions. DFSS:Lead initiatives to integrate DFSS principles into project workflows, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement within the engineering team.
