We are an amazing team that works hard to support each other and are seeking a phenomenal addition like you who feels patient care is as meaningful as we do.AsaX-ray Tech, you will:Takevital signs,collectinglab specimens,performingEKG’s, andadministeringIM injections.Perform all x-ray/imaging services according to provider’s orders andupdatespatient charts accordingly.Collectpatient history anddocumentingEHR appropriately.You mayapply splints,dressingsand bandages.Assistwith check-in/check-out whenneededincluding auditing charts.Maintainrecords and logs on activities including in-house lab work, drug screens, and lab work sent out to other labs.Keeppatients and visitors informed of clinic progress.You should have:1+yearof clinical experience in a patient care setting ishelpful.Experience using an EHR system isbeneficial. High School Diploma or equivalent isrequired.Graduate of an accredited school of Medical Assistants or completion of an approved program (BOTP) isrequired.General Medical Radiology Technician (GMRT), Limited Medical Radiology Technician (LMRT), or Non-Registered Technician (NCT) license isrequiredin state of residency.Current certification from the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) is preferred.Current BLS Certification isrequiredwithin30 daysof start.Must obtain a Federal Breath Alcohol Screening Certification and Federal Drug Screening Certification within 3 months of employment or promotion.
