ABOUT THE ROLE This role oversees accounting and reporting for Welltower’s partnerships and operator relationships. The Assistant Manager/Manager will analyze partnership performance, ensure accurate financial reporting, and serve as a key liaison with internal teams and external auditors. Ideal candidates bring strong technical accounting expertise, audit experience, and the ability to coordinate across functions to drive compliance and accuracy. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Lead a team of 5-6 accountants Review financial information received from various operating partners Manage the flow of operating partner financial information throughout the organization Communicate and facilitate accounting initiatives with operating partners Review intercompany transactions and monitor balances for proper elimination Analyze monthly financial results from operating partners Review journal entries and monthly internal controls OTHER DUTIES Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties, or responsibilities that are required of this employee for this job. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS Experience:5+ years of corporate or public accounting experience, preferably within real estate, healthcare, or REIT industries. Prior supervisory or managerial experience is preferred. Education:Bachelor’s degree in accounting required. Strong knowledge of accounting theory, including US GAAP. IFRS knowledge is a plus.
