Director of Human Resources Sierra HR Partners (National Raisin) - Fowler, CA, United States National Raisin Company, one of the leading agricultural organizations in the Central Valley, is currently accepting applications for their Director of Human Resources position. Under the direction of the President and CEO, the Director of Human Resources provides strategic and operational leadership for all human resources functions across the organization of 150-200 associates. This role partners closely with executive leadership to align HR strategies with business objectives, ensure regulatory compliance, strengthen organizational culture, and support employee engagement, performance, and development.Duties include, but are not limited to:Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with company goals and long-term business objectivesEstablish department goals, policies, systems, and metrics to ensure efficient HR operationsAdvise executive leadership on organizational structure, workforce planning, and talent strategyDevelop, recommend, and implement policies and procedures as well as employee handbook updatesEnsure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulationsPartner with legal counsel as needed to reduce risk and ensure regulatory complianceOversee recruitment efforts including implementation of employee retention strategiesManage job postings, candidate selection, interviewing, and onboarding processesSupport workforce planning and succession planning initiatives.Oversee benefits administration, including vendor coordination, invoicing, and communicationEvaluate and recommend compensation and benefits strategiesEnsure accurate HRIS data management and reportingPartner with leadership to assess training needs and implement development programsCollaborate with the Safety Department to promote a safe, compliant and healthy work environment.Partner with Leadership across departments to improve communication, productivity and engagementSupport Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives and respond to ethical and labor compliance requests from customersThe ideal candidate will possess the following:Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or closely related field requiredMinimum 5-7 years of progressive HR experience, including leadership responsibility; OR Master’s degree in Human Resources Management with 2+ years of HR leadership experiencePHR/SPHR or SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP certification preferredStrong knowledge of Federal and State employment law and personnel administrationExcellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Spanish.Strong leadership, coaching, and conflict resolution abilitiesStrategic thinking with ability to execute operationally and manage multiple priorities simultaneouslyHigh level of discretion and confidentiality with proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office SuitePosition offers a competitive annual salary between $115,000 - $130,000 DOE with generous company benefits including Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, PTO, and Sick Time.
