Job Category: Full Time - Direct Hire OpportunityLocation: Indio, CA Pay Range: $35.00 - $40.00/Hour + Benefits Hours: 6am - 3pm, Mon to Fri Job ID: Indie BBSI is hiring a Landscape Construction Foreman to lead field operations for a growing Southern California contractor delivering high-quality commercial landscape projects. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who understands construction-grade landscaping from grading and irrigation to hardscape and final details and knows how to keep crews productive, safe, and on schedule. About the Role As the Landscape Construction Foreman, you will oversee daily field operations and lead a crew of 5-10 landscape professionals, ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to plan. You’ll coordinate labor, materials, and equipment while serving as the main point of contact between the field and project management. Responsibilities: Lead and supervise landscape construction projects from start to finish Oversee grading, excavation, and site preparation activities Install and manage hardscape elements (walkways, curbing, pavers, concrete interfaces) Supervise irrigation system installation, testing, and troubleshooting Coordinate planting, soil preparation, and finish work Manage and motivate a crew of 5-10 on-site employees Read and interpret landscape plans, details, and schedules Ensure job site safety, quality control, and production standards Coordinate with project managers, inspectors, and subcontractors Track daily progress, materials, equipment, and labor needs Troubleshoot field challenges and keep projects moving forward Qualifications/Requirements 8+ years of landscape construction experience Prior Foreman or Lead experience managing landscape crews Bilingual in English and Spanish (required) Strong knowledge of commercial landscape construction practices Hands-on experience with irrigation systems, grading, and hardscape Ability to read and execute landscape and site plans Benefits & Perks Healthcare: Employer covers 60% of medical premiums, plus Dental & Vision Retirement: Simple IRA with employer match Paid Time Off: Vacation, Sick, and Holiday Pay Performance Bonus Stable Work: Consistent projects with a growing company
